But money also brings us down

Money brings out the worst in us

Money brings out the greed in us

Starving children across the globe

People on the streets everywhere you go

But where is the sense in this? Where is the love?

Millions of pounds on war and millions of dollars on sport

You lie and you cheat and you take us for granted

People have nothing yet you continue to leave us stranded

Religion and power taking everything the world has

Science and human rights left with nothing but brass

How does this future end? How do we proceed?

When all you do is greed greed greed.

We are shamed by our politics

Shamed by our Churches

300 million to donate for repairs

So 300 million souls you choose to spare?

Money makes the world go round

But there won’t be a world if we don’t stand our ground

So stop the fighting. Stop the War.
